Well, I did make some progress. It looks like it is somehow tied to the folder that I've got it stored in. I might be able to get rid of it entirely later. Considering it is way past bedtime, there are still some annoyances with the administration. Theming the entire site doesn't seem easy, and I don't especially like how the blog looks and feels like a completely different site.

I find it almost shameful I've not been using any content management system until now. I rolled my own simple blog poster for the solitary blog I posted about 2 years ago, which ended up being almost more of a proof of concept than anything reasonably useful. Community server seems decent, albeit a bit "clicky". I did find one thing I didn't like which is for some reason the default URL does not seem to be easily editable. If you hadn't noticed, while all the URLs work, they are annoyingly long. Upon closer investigation you may notice my urls have my domain doubled up. Ugh.
